Suspension design concepts
With the introduction of four-point cab suspension in 1987, Renault Agriculture shaped the development of tractors decisively and lastingly. Suspension comfort continues to be a core strength of CLAAS tractors. All tractors manufactured in Le Mans are equipped with four-point cab suspension or two-point cab suspension (in the lower performance classes) either as standard or upon request. The complex, optimal interaction between front axle suspension, vibration damping, seat suspension and, in the AXION TERRA TRAC, suspended tracks can be compared to conducting an orchestra. Both require ample experience, and CLAAS’ experience is unrivalled among manufacturers.
